Two things are on my mind now. First, I'm ready to move on from all the commecials for "seniors" that emphaize that we're old. Second, I'm totally facinated by seeing that we boomers 80 and over are among the 15 million Americans 80 or more.
What are you obsessed with? That's the key q;ueston for the 5ht quarter of your life. This site is for the obsessed and for those looking for an obsession.
The Fifth Quarter isn't about adding years to your life. It's about adding life to your years.
I consider the life expectancy for Americans to average about 80*. That 80 is made up of four 20 year quarters of our lives. When a person crosses into their 80's they are into the 5th quarter. Life expectancey needs an expanded descripton to claify my suggestion that life expectancy is 80. In fact, Asian Americans live longer on average, women average alost 5 years longer than men, black men an woman are less than 80. And, full disclosure, "boomer" are generally considered to start at 1946. I was born in 1944.
