It happened that I had two MGs and stumbled upon a third, a white 1955 MG Magnette. It is the Magnette, Maggie, that I want to describe to you.
I want to describe my system. However, I won't force you through this schematic. The approach I take to describe the system is to go component by component as I "follow the juice" from the plug in the wall to the motor.
The Fast Track:
Each page on this tour will have "The Fast Track" and "The Details." This scheme is intended to provide an overview and a deep dive at the same time.
The schematic above provides an idea of the scope of my project. But it's not as complicated as it appears to be. "Follow the Juice" describes Maggie from the plug to the motor.

As for this page, the schematic above was what I received with the "kit" I purchased. I considered this the assembly instructions. I later was told to not use the schematic but to research each individual component for the proper installation and wiring. Fortunately, the owner of the company I purchased the kit from took me under his wing and offered unlimited phone support. His offer included no time limit which was good since the project has taken me three years to complete.
Follow along and you will see components in their final form and described from the household power source to the batteries and ultimately the motor.
