I consider the life expectancy for Americans to average about 80*. That 80 is made up of four 20 year quarters of our lives. When a person crosses into their 80's they are into the Fifth Quarter. Life expectancey needs an expanded descripton to claify my suggestion that life expectancy is 80. In fact, Asian Americans live longer on average, women average alost 5 years longer than men, black men an woman are less than 80. And, full disclosure, "boomer" are generally considered to start at 1946. I was born in 1944.
